What Sptfy is
Sptfy is a free short-link service for Spotify. You paste a Spotify link, pick a slug like sptfy.co/your-song, and get a branded short URL that records every click and, optionally, fires your remarketing pixels for Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Snap before handing the fan off to Spotify.
It works with all six kinds of Spotify content: tracks, albums, artists, playlists, shows and episodes. Every link comes with click analytics, a QR code, and the option to change the destination later. You log in with a magic link sent to your email; there are no passwords. When tracking is on, a fan who clicks sees a branded page with your artwork for a fraction of a second while the pixels fire, then Spotify opens.
Sptfy is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Spotify. It is made by musicians who wanted a better way to share their own music on Spotify, and it is offered to other musicians for the same reason.
Free, and staying that way
Sptfy is a side project built by musicians who wanted to fire marketing pixels from a short link without paying for a smart-link subscription. There is no paid tier and no plan to add one. A Spotify-only link with pixels and analytics is cheap to run, so it can stay free. What we collect and how we use it is set out in the Privacy Policy.
What it isn't
Sptfy does one thing. It is not:
- a link-in-bio page builder;
- a multi-store landing page for Apple Music, YouTube and the rest;
- a pre-save campaign tool;
- a custom-domain service (every link lives on
sptfy.co/); - a UTM builder, scheduler, exporter or team workspace;
- a conversion-tracking or server-side events tool.

How it's built
Sptfy started as a fork of the open-source Sink link shortener and runs entirely on Cloudflare. Pixel IDs are validated on the server against each network's ID format and dropped into vetted templates; there is no way to add Google Tag Manager or arbitrary scripts, so no unreviewed code ever runs on the redirect page. Anyone who wants to create links programmatically can use the rate-limited public API described at /_docs/openapi.json.
